Past Visions of Tomorrow: A Journey Through Sci-Fi Illustrations

Giuseppe Festino has harbored a deep passion for science fiction since he was a young boy.

He first had the opportunity to put this passion to use in the pages of several fanzines, such as Vox Futura and Alternativa, and later, starting in 1976, for the magazine Robot.

In the second half of the 1980s, he collaborated with Mondadori, creating various covers for Urania and its special editions. He is also the creator of movie posters. Besides his work in publishing, he has collaborated with numerous advertising agencies.

Many of his works are part of private collections in Paris, Munich, London, Oakland, and Los Angeles.

In the early 2000s, he produced a remarkable series of covers for the collections of Perseo Libri until that publishing house closed.
